A group of 30 students of eight and ninth grade went on December 9th to the under privilege community of Tirrases in Curridabat to celebrate a special Christmas activity with 300 children of the public school of Tirrases.

When they arrived each student was assigned to a group of twelve kids from ages between 4 to 10 years old. They wrote name tags to every child in order to develop a bond between them. They played games, color some drawings and enjoyed a play about the meaning of Christmas that was prepared before hand.

Later, a snack was served by SEK students to the children. To end up with the activity 300 gifts were distributed among the children. Those gifts were collected in the SEK School during the last two weeks in a campaign called Christmas is Jesus. This campaign was organized by the former student Mariano Sánchez with the help of the 30 students that participated in it.
