Kinesthetic activities are used in class

The first Friday of June was a great day for first graders in the English class; “Miss, this is my best day in the English class...,” said some kids from first A and B. I introduced a different way to learn and review the high frequency words children had to learn. Kids worked in areas writing the words they were learning to read. In the first area, they used flour, in the second area they wrote with chalk on the floor, in the third one kids used clay and the last area prompted them to write all the words in a piece of paper using markers.

This was a special day; they really enjoyed doing something they like to do using different kinds of materials. I’m sure they learned and had a lot of fun.
